How the Inman Aligners™ Work

The Inman Aligner™ appliance straightens teeth by applying gentle, constant pressure. The appliance is worn over the front teeth and has a small spring and bar that press and pull certain teeth in opposite directions. Though it may take a day or two to get used to the Inman Aligner™, it is small and nearly unnoticeable to others. Because the pressure is constant but very gentle, the aligners actually work faster than regular braces, which exert greater pressure upon the teeth and often need to be adjusted. With the Inman Aligners™, our patients from Weston-super-Mare, Bristol, Taunton, the South West and locations around the U.K. do not feel the pain that’s often associated with adjusting regular braces.

The Inman Aligner™ Treatment Process

After Drs. Andy or Becky Denny have determined that your case is suitable for treatment with the Inman Aligner™, they will fit you for the appliance. Relying on their experience with the aligners, they pay special attention to creating a great fit for patients. Once your aligner has been crafted, it is recommended that you wear it for 16 to 20 hours per day. You will return to Twenty 2 Dental occasionally so that Drs. Andy or Becky Denny can check on your progress and address any issues you are having with your Inman Aligners™, although the occurrence of any complications is very rare. Depending on your particular case, you will wear the aligners for 6 to 16 weeks.
